Taxpayers deserve full visibility. Every dollar. Every contract. Every decision. No backroom deals. No hidden agendas. Government works for the people and it will operate in the open.

My Action Plan

We establish transparency as the standard, not the exception. I will implement a comprehensive Cape Coral Transparency Portal with real-time access to budgets, pay scales, contractor bids, and project-level spending. If it involves taxpayer money, it will be visible.

All major development agreements will be published online a minimum of 30 days before any vote. No rushed approvals. No last-minute surprises. The public will have time to review, question, and respond.

We will establish independent citizen oversight. Standing Citizen Oversight Committees, composed of qualified residents, will have full access to review major projects from RFP through completion. They will identify risks, flag concerns, and recommend corrective action before problems escalate.

For large contracts, we will implement formal third-party or citizen-led review boards to ensure fairness, competitiveness, and compliance. Every major decision will be scrutinized.

Execution will be disciplined and documented. Timelines, budgets, and performance metrics will be tracked and published in real time.

End state: a government that is transparent, accountable, and trusted. One where decisions are made in the open, money is tracked down to the dollar, and the public has a direct line of sight into how their city operates.
